The Association would like to thank all guest speakers, sponsors & members for the support given to the 2011/2012 programme. It is hoped in the next few weeks the programme for next winter will be published in the programme section of this website.
Yours Sincerely
Iain Lyle
Dear Members & Guests
As I enter my first full year as chairman of Central Scotland Pig Producers’ Association (CSPPA) I note this year’s new programme offers many exciting meetings with both local & international speakers. We will hear the importance of the training & development of staff, the commitment to reinvestment & expansion, through to an international perspective on disease control whilst simultaneously reducing medication usage.
Like pig businesses, the CSPPA is committed to change & improvement. This year for the first time we are moving our meetings to the 2nd Monday of each month, this is something we hope this will reduce the potential clashes with other meetings & will review the outcome after this year. Also, to help with communication to members & guests of meeting dates, venues & speakers, we have established our very own website (www.csppa.co.uk). It is hoped this website will both improve communication as well as offering further customer exposure for our sponsors.
Entering the 2011 / 2012 winter programme we must remember the CSPPA is an asset to be used & supported by both Producers & Allied Industry, without this support there will be no CSPPA, keeping this in mind I trust this year’s attendance will reflect the calibre of speakers.
Yours Sincerely
